SG-40H

The Bandit SG-40H comes equipped with the same features as the SG-40, but what separates this model apart is the cutter wheel drive. The SG-40H has a cutter wheel drive system driven by a side mounted hydraulic motor and is the preferred choice for those wishing to eliminate periodic belt maintenance. A 40 horsepower Vanguard EFI gasoline engine is easy to start, operate, and provides ample torque to power the cutter wheel through stumps of varying sizes.

The SG-40H has an aggressive, heavy-duty track drive system propelling the unit quickly and efficiently to the stump. A maximum travel speed of 2.6 MPH is offered all while leaving a minimal footprint. The track drive system allows the SG-40H to grind stumps on difficult or soft terrain conditions.

Operators will enjoy the ability to control the SG-40’s in various locations. The SG-40 series is engineered to provide an operator with maximum visibility of the stump during grinding, allowing for more productivity all while reducing the chances of hitting any potential obstacles or damaging debris. A 3-position console enables operation on either side or behind the machine. Two joysticks control the travel of the unit, while a single, easy to use joystick controls all cutter wheel functions. This set-up permits an operator to efficiently control all functions, increasing versatility and productivity.
